a day in the shoes of an artist
an artistan artist spends the majority of their day creating many pieces of art, most likely if they are an artist by profession and not by hobby. the amount of time the artist spends creating varies from the size of his imagination and how many deadlines he must meet if need so. depending on who the artist is, they might like to work tight on a schedule or others might be so passionate that they will takes hours working on one piece. artists who love their job tend to love that part of the day the most. when artists are not creating they are spending their time imagining and thinking of new ideas for the next big day or taking in orders from various clients and keeping track of their deadlines.

art teacheran art teacher starts their day at 8am, that all depends on how far you live or the school you work at. they may have an average of up to six one hour classes of around thirty students, once again that all depends on the school and the way they work there schedules. they normally start a class by greeting them and informing the students of the work that needs to be accomplished, or any project deadlines coming up soon. if they introduce a new project or technique they would then explain step by step how to do it followed by a visual presentation. while working the teacher should be supervising seeing if they are using the correct techniques or materials and if not she will explain the proper techniques individually. if a student has trouble with a certain part in their work the teacher is responsible for explaining until they understand. more towards the end of the day, they will spend there time correcting and grading art work. this can mean they might have to end up grading at home, which means overtime.
